The HAA (Houston Arts Alliance) and MOCA (Mayor's Office of Cultural Affairs) awarded Filmmaker Fatima Hye a 2025 SACI (Support for Artists and Creative Individuals) Grant for Pre-Production on Aleph ($13,000 + $5580 booster for a total of $18,850).
The art horror anthology “Cryptic Triptych”, featuring a Q&A with the Director Fatima Hye, will take place:

Thursday, November 7th @ 9:15 PM in Houston at the River Oaks Theater
The Houston Cinema Arts Festival will present a Special Preview Screening of Ana & Mia + Q&A with Director Fatima Hye at Rice Cinema on Sunday, November 12th @ 4 PM. (Made possible by a grant from the Houston Arts Alliance, a division of the City of Houston.)

The psychological art horror feature “Abortifacient”, renamed “Coming to Term” for an international audience, is now available in many countries, including in the US, Canada, UK, and Ireland, and on several platforms, including Vudu, Youtube Movies, Google Play, Microsoft Store, and Amazon.
“Ana & Mia” wrapped principle photography and filmmaker Fatima Hye was awarded the SACI (Support for Artists and Creative Individuals) grant by HAA (Houston Arts Alliance) through the City of Houston for the film, which will now enter post-production.
The pandemic-era cooperative film "The Players" will premier at the Lost River Film Festival in San Marcos, Texas on Saturday, October 22nd, during the 10 AM bloc "Undoing Patriarchy" with a Q&A afterwards with the Writer/Director in attendance.

Black Revel Productions began in 2012 and has produced 6 student shorts, 1 featurette which went to a local festival and is now streaming on Tubi, and 1 feature which just got signed for distribution. 3 “pandemic projects” were also produced, a completed short that premiered at a festival, a medium-length cooperative short finishing up post-production, and a feature length art horror anthology, which recently wrapped filming.
Filmmaker Fatima Hye was awarded a Feature Film Production Grant from Austin Film Society for Cryptic Triptych.

“Abortifacient” has just been picked up by Summer Hill Entertainment for North American and International distribution through sales agency The Movie Agency.
The 1st of the 3 “Covid Projects” has already been made (the short “Count the Ways”), while the 2nd one is being developed. A medium-length short called “The Players” is the drama of an aspiring actress and the man who tries to get access to her by producing his own film. The piece will explore the topics of acting, the film industry, gender, and ambition. The project will be done in a cooperative/profit-sharing model.
